The FAIR Principles are more and more accepted across the world and many organizations see the value of adhering to the FAIR Principles. Implementing these principles is, however, not an easy task and requires very specific expertise. FAIR Solutions’s founders were intricately involved in the design of the FAIR Principles and the company has all the knowledge and resources available to assist you in GOing FAIR.
If you are considering working towards FAIR compliance, you most likely need detailed information about the impact on your existing systems for adequate Data Stewardship. FAIR Solution offers technical consulting services to guide you to the most efficient way of enabling you to become fully FAIR compliant.
Once you start implementing FAIR Data workflows working with the standard FAIR Solutions’ products, most likely you will want to customize applications and features to fit your specific needs. We have done that for several customers recently and FAIR Solutions and its partners are thus well equipped to support you.
Adequate FAIR Data management requires the use of proper semantics as we are helping machines to understand what we mean. Conceptual models, ontologies, metadata schema and semantic data models are an intrinsic part of the FAIR approach.
We offer metadata and data services in the format of metadata schema hackathons and data modeling hackathons ("Metadathons" or “Datathons”). These workshops have a specific aim: based upon information about the metadata and data from domain experts we will create a semantic metadata schema and/or a semantic data model for your specific domain for which you would like to install a FAIR Data Point.
Depending on the complexity of the (meta) data these workshops will take 2 or 3 days and the end result will be semantic metadata and data schemas you can use in your FAIR Data Point. These schemas can also be stored in a schema repository which make them reusable (the R).
